A contemporary, smooth-edge glass in a beautiful interlocking 1×2 pattern, Agate is a blend made using the combination of colors designed to provide a lifetime of enjoyment in any setting. Each piece is hand-poured and unique, designed with a certain amount of variation and variegation of color, tone, texture and shade for a distinctive appearance. The hand-made process incorporates creases, wrinkles, waves, bubbles and other surface effects indicative of hand-made glass, all designed to capture light and enhance the final beauty of the project.
The Agate series glass tile can be used for pools, spas, water features or interior surfaces. This glass mosaic tile has the same qualities as the porcelain tiles and is safe to use in an outdoor environment.
Packaging Information – Case quantity for this tile is 5 Sq Ft per Case. Each case contains 5 sheets of tile.
This item is sold by the square foot only. Case quantity is only listed as a reference.

Glass tile installed in pools should be:
- Impervious – <.5 % water absorption
- Freeze thaw resistant
- Chemically resistant
- High breaking strength – <350 lbf
- Annealed
- Face mounted
- Mesh mounted
- Film Face mounted
Recommended by glass tile manufacturer and material manufacturer for use in submerged applications.
- Cementitious Waterproofing – tank waterproofing
- Mortar Bed 4:1 Sand to Cement – no lime (bag mix ok if proper ratio)
- Elastomeric Membrane – optional mortar bed waterproofing
- Modified Thin-set or Epoxy Setting Material
- Cementitious or Epoxy Grout
- Flexible Sealant
- Tile sold by the square foot only.
1 sheet = 1.07 Sq Ft - This is a Mesh mounted glass mosaic tile.
